BreatheOpis:Breathe captures the legend of Hammond B-3 organ, Dr. Lonnie Smith, on his 75th anniversary at the Jazz Standard in New York in 2017. Two other studio tracks that introduce and close the album feature the unique collaboration between Doc and Iggy Pop, including a sublime cover of Donovan's 1966 tube “Sunshine Superman” .

That evening, Lonnie was accompanied by Jonathan Kreisberg on guitar, Johnathan Blake on drums, John Ellis on tenor saxophone, Jason Marshall on baritone saxophone, Sean Jones on the trumpet and Robin Eubanks on the trombone.
